"Hard Error"

Went to lunch, had a "Hard Error" when quitting the screen saver that caused a blue screen. I didn't write down the single memory address that it also said on the screen.

Dell Latitude Laptop, Win2k fully patched, P4.

Hmm, if you do see that happen again, try to get the memory address that is reported, since believe it or not, that can occasionally help track a weird intermittent problem like this down.

How long have you been running the Living Pond for without problems, and also, are you running the rc9/10 version or an earlier release? Is your copy registered or not (this will help determine whether the nag screen is the potential source of this problem)?

This is the first intermittent blue screen crash I've heard of for a while now. There are other things that can cause crashes, like old drivers, bad hardware, and there has been one report of a crash apparently related to problems with the sound, but it doesn't sound like that's the case here.
