The new 1.0rc9 version which we just put up fixes several bugs that folks caught in yesterday's rc8 release. In particular:
- In rc8, the User View setting would drop you in a weird place when the screensaver restarted. This is now fixed - the views seem to work as intended now.
- Several folks have mentioned that the configuration options were confusing because they didn't seem to stick unless you pressed OK first and restarted. This was true, and it was originally by design, but the behavior didn't really make any sense any more. You can now change settings in the Settings tab, then press PREVIEW in the Fish tab, and see all your settings changes reflected instantly, no need to restart.
Hopefully these were the only two major new issues with rc8, and they are now addressed.
