I've have an AMD Athlon 2000+ with 512Mb 2100DDR, NVidia FX5900XT 128Mb and a Soundblaster Live 5.1 Platinum. All of which have the latest drivers installed. (Also DirectX9) Firstly i get no sound. secondly even with a setting of 800x600 pixels 16 bit colour and 6 fish I get less than 2 frames per second. compare this to the Serene Screen Fish Tank where I can run this at 1152x864 32 bit colour and get 120 frames per second.
Any ideas? |

Hmmm... very strange. You should have no problem running the Ultra version with those specs...
Maybe try re-installing?
Can you run the regular version at a decent speed at least?
Maybe send my your DirectX diagnotics (Start -> run, dxdiag) so I can see all your hardware specs in gory detail? |

Wouldn't it be a good idea to give prospective downloaders a hint about what is considered a computer capable of the "Ultra" version?
I'm a little unsure about what a "newer, high end computer" is. One could believe that you'd need a 3.0GHz+ CPU and a 6800GT/X800 vid card.
Of course there's a multitude of different combinations, but some hint would be a nice addition.
