Im a new comer but I like Living Pond.I would like Living Pond has got a lots of fan,it depends on time.
Now here is some suggestions :
+ Its obvious Living Pond is both a program and a screensaver. Why dont we establish so that it run the same way ? That is its rightclick menu has Test and Configure,Its configure tablet has a checkbox Exit on move mouse ,and we can see it both Full screen mode and window mode (with a hot key F for example).
+ About the sound,I think we need a volume control in its configure and some hot keys to adjust sound.
+ When we select fish, the highlight does not drop the next line,Its difficult to choose them.
+ In the future, the vibrated tree, fallen yellow leaves on the pond, feeding the fish will be appreciated.
BTW : I can see 9, instead of 10 fish in the pond |

Hi Pham,
Sorry if it's been quiet. We've both been out spending more time with friends and family while people were off from work for the holidays.
I agree "exit on mouse move" would be a good feature, since it's annoying to exit accidentally when you are trying to run the pond as a stand-alone program. This is easy to do.
Window mode would also be nice (I think we actually had talked about this at one point - I don't remember why we didn't do it). It would be fun to have the pond running in the corner while you are working.
At some point we'll add better volume control - right now there are some much bigger sound problems we are trying to fix first.
I agree about having the highlight "drop" to the next line (originally I wanted to do this, but I think Raefer didn't like this idea. I will try to change his mind )
As for moving moving trees and leaves and stuff, this will have to wait for a much later release. Trees and bushes are very complex shapes, and so require huge numbers of polygons to do well. Most people don't have the hardware to support this level of complexity right now. I think it's better right now to have static trees, than to create unrealistic-looking moving trees.
Thanks for the feedback and all the great ideas!
Camberley
ps - The 9 fish instead of 10 is a bug we just noticed too, and will be fixed in the next release. |

Apologies if I've missed it but could you feed the fish; button press, like for ripples then the fish came to the surface to feed? |
